Hey folks! This update is long overdue. I know, I know – I was supposed to do this last Saturday. But an impromptu trip to Hawaii left me with no choice but to push this back. So here it is.
Over the past three weeks, to say that I’ve been busy would be an understatement. As I wrap up the end of the academic quarter, I feel like things have only been speeding up. And try as I might, I’ve been going to bed later and later. Getting to the gym has been more of a hassle than usual. Take last week, for instance. I was only able to get to the gym twice before I hauled myself over to Honolulu. My last day there, I decided that I wanted to get in at least one more quality workout, so given the usual limited hotel gym equipment, I did some Tabata-style front squats with 20lbs in each hand (these things are deceivingly hard) followed up with some steady state cardio. Gasp, oh no she didn’t! Oh yes I did. You see, as anti-cardio as I may seem, I think they do have their place.
